Get to Know İnci

Cevdet İnci first founded İncitaş.

He began wheel production at Jant Sanayi Adi Komandit Şirketi by producing wheel discs with a large press. By mid-1968 the company had reached the capacity to produce both wheel rims and wheel discs.

With the healthy growth of production, JANTAŞ, one of the first building blocks of the wheel industry, was born. JANTAŞ received its first patent in 1979. With the quality standards achieved and a steady growth trend, export activities began the same year.

İnci Holding was established with the coming together of İncitaş, İnci Sigorta and Jantaş.

The success achieved in wheel production encouraged the group to invest in battery production, which it saw as a growth area. The name “İNCİ”, a spiritual value the family holds dear, was deemed fitting for the battery to be produced. İnci Akü, the Energy Expert of the World, was established in Manisa OIZ.

The Cevdet İnci Education Foundation was established by Cevdet İnci in 1985 under the principle of “Supporting Education, Serving the Future” to contribute to our country's efforts to reach the level of contemporary civilization in education.

In 1992, Jantaş entered into a partnership with the German Lemmerz Group, one of the sector's leading names.

When Hayes, the world leader in wheel production, acquired Lemmerz, the European leader, our country became one of the world's centers of quality wheel production.

İnci Lojistik was founded in response to the needs of the growing Holding.

All shares of ISM Minibar were acquired.

The Chairmanship of the Board was handed over to the 2nd generation.

A partnership with Brazil's Maxion Wheels began, and the names of our companies were updated to Maxion Jantaş and Maxion İnci.

İnci Akademi was established under the Cevdet İnci Education Foundation.

İnci Family Office was established by the shareholders of İnci Holding as an important step in institutionalization efforts, to completely separate the business hat from the family hat and to contribute to Turkey by specializing in the management of family assets.

İnci Lojistik and the global Japanese giant Yusen Logistics entered into a partnership and took the name Yusen İnci Lojistik.

İnci Akü and GS Yuasa entered into a partnership and continued under the name İnci GS Yuasa.

The Chairmanship of the Board was handed over to the 3rd generation.

Vinci was established as a venture capital company in which İnci Holding is the strategic investor.

The first Sustainability Report was published.

Rhombus, the US technology company that was İnci Holding's first direct overseas investment, was acquired by BorgWarner in 2022.
